Shri Yogambar Singh joined as the new Chairman of Malini Valley College of Education on 16th October, 2024. He is the founding member of the College and has played crucial role in the growth of the college in the past 19 years.
Shri Yogambar Singh, a retired soldier, joined the Indian Navy at a tender age of 16 years in 1973 and served till 1991. During his service, he was also a part of the Operation Pawan. A bright student, he graduated with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and served Essar Shipping Limited as a Marine Engineer between 1991 and 2012.
Post-retirement he is active in social welfare activities, and promotion and conservation of Garhwali culture. He is deeply invested in serving the specialy-abled persons and is the Kotdwar Nagar Adkyaksh of Saksham sanstha.
